Doncaster Royal infirmary Hospital.
Recently we undertook a full refurbishment of this ward. Existing substrate was prepared by mechanical grinding.
The floors was then latexed with Ardex CL and NA.
The products we used was polyflor wood fx to the consulting rooms and corridors with polyflor set in skirting which was welded to the main field vinyl.
The waiting areas used a darker shade of planking.
In the toilet/store rooms polyflor verona was selected.
In two of the childrens room, altro suprema was used with the use of orange and green colours

Milestone child health care centre, sheffield
A recent challenging project.
The original floor had to be removed exposing a raised access floor with 2mm steel surface usually used as a computer room.
The whole floor was overlaid with 6mm ply board which we had to screw down with a self feeding screw guns.
Once the boarding was complete the whole was screened with Ardex feather finish.
This was quite a lengthy process as we had 300m2 to complete.
Once this had dried the flooring was installed.
We specified polyflor astral for the slip resistance and striking colours and design.
Orchid Orthopedic Solution, Parkway, Sheffield
We removed the old flooring throughout the new lab rooms and latex screed the substrate.
New flooring was installed form Polyflor, Expona flow was chosen, colour cool concrete.
This new design created a modern and fresh new appearance which complimented the new fixed workstations recently installed.
Northern general hospital, Childrens out patients
Recently completed a remodel of the old section and working with tight budgets within the hospital trust.
The old floors were removed, the floors had to be grind down to remove some of the old latex. The floors then screeded with Ardex NA.
We installed 500m2 of polyflor verona safety floors throughout with coved perimeters and 200m2 of Fm Birch carpet tiles to all the consulting rooms .
Francis Willis Secure Unit, Lincolnshire Hospital
On this project we installed new flooring to an extension recently added on to the existing building. On the new concrete slab we installed Uzin latex screed moisture as there was residual moisture evident. Once this was dry the whole area was installed with Tarkett Safetread wood vinyl, R10 slip resistance vinyl and into 15 bedrooms. This was done in stages as the residents had to be re-located.
In the shower area and seclusion room we installed new vinyl coverings to the wall and hygienic wall cladding to the shower area

New Dementia ward 800m2
This new ward was recently re-modelled, we scabbled the existing concrete to remove the old adhesive. The full ward was screeded with mapei latex screed
Flooring was then installed using polyflor Modena and tarkett vinyl wood effect border. The perimeter edges had black pvc skirting and this was welded to the new vinyl floor to make impervious to spillages.
The ensuites and shower floors had polyflor hydro installed, which is a specialised shower floor to prevent slipping in wet conditions. The main contractor commented on the quality of the installations and the smooth latex screeding undertaken by our floor layers.
MHA Care Homes, Surrey and Wilesden, London
Installed Danfloor equinox carpeting to the newly decorated bedrooms and Altro Aquarious safety flooring to the walk in shower rooms.
As the sites are still open, we spent time on the logistics and arranging the installations around the residents which had to be relocated whilst this essential work was undertaken.
MHA Care Home, Derby
42 bedroom care home in Danfloor impervious carpeting and all ensuites in Tarkett shower flooring.
BMI Thornbury Hospital, Fulwood,Sheffield
Fully latexed the complete area with Mapei latex trade plan and mechanically buffed to a glass like finish.
Phase 1 recently completed, 200m2 of Polyflor Classic mystique, coved and fully heat welded to a black PVC capping trim.
Phase 2 all now complete for BMI Thornbury Hospital
Again all floors where grinded to remove the old latex, Mapei latex was used throughout.
All the perimeter edges were site formed to create an impervious finish.
Our client was clearly impressed with the finishes and reliability of all involved
2 care homes re-carpeted
Throughout 2 homes we used 900m2 FM Birch carpets, care tech, uplifted all the old flooring and disposed.
The bedrooms had 400m2 of Polyflor wood fx safety floors. All floors uplifted and prepared.
Working closely with the scheme manager, we had to complete the flooring works whilst occupied, which was a times quite a challenge
