Doncaster Royal Infirmary Hospital. Opthalmology ward
Recently we undertook a full refurbishment of this ward. Existing substrate was prepared by mechanical grinding.
The floors was then latexed with Ardex CL and NA.
The products we used was polyflor wood fx to the consulting rooms and corridors with polyflor set in skirting which was welded to the main field vinyl.
The waiting areas used a darker shade of planking.
In the toilet/store rooms polyflor verona was selected.
In two of the childrens room, altro suprema was used with the use of orange and green colours

New Dementia ward 800m2
This new ward was recently re-modelled, we scabbled the existing concrete to remove the old adhesive. The full ward was screeded with mapei latex screed
Flooring was then installed using polyflor Modena and tarkett vinyl wood effect border. The perimeter edges had black pvc skirting and this was welded to the new vinyl floor to make impervious to spillages.
The ensuites and shower floors had polyflor hydro installed, which is a specialised shower floor to prevent slipping in wet conditions. The main contractor commented on the quality of the installations and the smooth latex screeding undertaken by our floor layers.
